Method:
Step 1: Wash and soak the Dal for 10-15 minutes (optional but recommended) Step 2: In a pressure cooker, add the Dal and 500ml water Step 3: Pressure cook for 15 minutes or until 3 whistles Step 4: Once cool, open the pressure cooker and blend the dal mixture to a smooth consistency Step 5: In a pan heat ghee and cook the sliced onions till brown Step 6: Add chopped tomato and cook till it becomes soft Step 7: Add the remaining 300ml water, Magic Mixx (from the packet) and the vegetables and boil till the vegetables are soft, but firm Step 8: Add the cooked dal and cook further Step 9: Simmer the sambhar for a few minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Step 10: In a pan heat oil and coriander for a flavorful tadka and add it to the sambar Optional: Add your own creative tadka with extra love and flavor! Tip: Adjust consistency to your liking by adding hot water
